Kim Ficaro is a freelance prop and interior stylist. She has been styling for over a decade. She came to styling after graduating School Of Visual Arts in New York City with a BFA in sculpture. She worked her way up, assisting some of the best stylist in the business, giving her the groundwork to push forward. She became style editor of the original Domino Magazine in 2006 until the closing. Since then has continued as a freelance prop and interior stylist, editor, author, and home wares designer. She seeks out inspiring projects and stories for various editorial publications, catalogs and advertising all while maintaing an ease and thoughtfulness within her work. Kim is co author of the interior book, The Inspired Home published by Rizzoli. In the summer of 2014, Canvas Home, a New York City based home line and store launched a capsule collection Kim designed in collaboration with the owner, including textiles, furniture and ceramics. She also provides interior consulting and styling for private and commercial spaces.
