Kim Ficaro came to prop styling after graduating SVA with a BFA in sculpture. After working with many artists and stylists, she began her career as a freelance stylist until joining Domino Magazine as Style Editor, styling there for three years,as well as producing stories from interiors, lifestyle, entertaining and food to flowers. Since then she has continued to seek out inspiring projects and stories, styling for various editorial publications, books, catalogs, and advertising, maintaining an ease and thoughtfulness within her work. Some of her clients include, Town and Country, Oprah Magazine, New York Times Magazine and West Elm. In addition to styling, Kim also provides an interior consulting service and styling for private residences. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and works out of Crosby Street in New York City, where she and stylist Christine Rudolph share a studio together they call Shelter.
